Nemoland 2005, an exciting moment for the students who participated in the workshop with Don Bluth and Gary Goldman, two brilliant animators, who are considered true legends in the world of cartoon animation.
Two days of lesson exclusively for l'Accademia Nemo and for the students of the Istituto Fiorentino, made this year's edition priceless.
Thanks to the collaboration with theAccademia NEMO NT and the Istituto d'Arte of Florence it was possible to organize this demonstration with numerous school children.

Workshop Program:
in the l'Aula Magna of the Istituto d'Arte of Florence
Don Bluth and Gary Goldman held two days of lessons exclusively for the students of the Accademia delle Arti Digitali NEMO NT and the Istituto Statale d'Arte of Florence. The two great animators showed how an animation film is born and realized involving the the public in their performances.

The lessons were enhanced by the projection of the films by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman
At the end of every lesson the students were called on to make comparisons with the guests and Giuliano Cenci, one of the fathers of Italian animation, who represented Italian cinema during the demonstration.

Through the presentation of original project boards and prints in the phases of work, the visitors will encounter reproductions of monsters, aliens, and spaceships as a tangible form from the 3-dimensional cinemagraphic realization and transposition of the sculptural designs
From here we begin a voyage to the inside of the finalization and of backstage effects that belong to the field of make-up, that is make-up that transforms, creating monsters and aliens of the world of fantasy and horror films. All of this will be represented focusing on the art of the pre-visualization and sculptures following the themes of aliens, monsters and spaceships.
On show will be original boards by artists that, in the course of their experience, confronted various themes within science fiction and fantasy.
