Florence, the capital of the Renaissance, hosts Science Fiction.
The second engagement, this time in the city of Florence, within the splendid surrounding of the prestigious Istituto Statale d'Arte, Nemoland - behind the scenes of science fiction and fantasy the idea arose to put a face on that art which is known as "Backstage" or "Invisible Art", or to be more precise all the work that encompassed the research, study, graphic and stylistic planning, the final layout and final rendering in the world of entertainment.
The event, proposed by NEMO NT, Accademia delle Arti Digitali, by Istituto Statale d'Arte di Firenze and the consortium Adventurage di Pescara, has been promoted by the Comune di Firenze, the Comune di Pescara - Assessorato alla Cultura, and by FILA.
The demonstration was carried out in two important moments. The first as a unique event within the panorama of European education, the meeting and lessons by Americans Don Bluth and Gary Goldman, two legends in the animated cinema world.
The lessons that were given on the 7th and 8th of October were dedicated exclusively to the students of the two Florentine institutes.
The second moment, from the 12th to the 30th of October, which took place within the Gipsoteca by Istituto Statale d'Arte di Firenze, with the exhibition X-Art with numerous original boards from international professional, some of which were from the same American artists Bluth and Goldman.
